VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF FLIGHT
This is an ad announcing the new direct route from Vancouver International Airport to Tunisia. The challenge for the design of the ad is to create a harmonious collage. In order to achieve this, selecting similar color combinations is the key.
The design is inspired by the miscellaneous tourist spots in Tunisia, such as Sidi Bou Said, hamsa, Sahara desert, and Mosque of Kairouan. Tunisian women enjoy more freedom than the neighboring Islamic countries, which is represented by the reading Muslim girl.
The ad is called “Variety is the spice of flight” because Tunisia is an unfamiliar traveling destination to most Canadians. As exotic as Tunisia may be to most people, the square frame aims to create a sense of escape from the routine.
