OSCAR WILDE'S 100 DRUNKEN TALES

Project brief
This is a conceptual cookbook with a theme rendering through a potential 200 pages recipe. The challenge for the design of the cookbook was to develop a creative theme with the consistent elements to visualize the story. In order to achieve this, the geometric shapes and poems of Oscar Wilde are connecting through each page.

Design rationale
The design aims to represent a collection of Oscar Wilde’s poetry. Oscar Wilde was a famous Irish poet in the 19th century; he was famous for his sarcastic humor, poems and his love for food and drinking, which inspires the idea of this Irish alcohol-infused food recipe. The blue and gold with geometric shapes display his dandy air. Besides, the kicker of each recipe is named after one of his poems whichever best suits the ambience of the very recipe.
